There are a variety of cruises to choose from, such as the beach island shelling cruise, afternoon sightseeing cruise, and sunset cruise — all of them offering plenty of moments for romance. The boat can hold up to 40 passengers, but if you’re willing to splurge for some privacy, they also offer private charters.

If you’re looking for a fun night on the town, Fifth Avenue South in downtown Naples offers a great time for people of all ages. Reinvented in 1996, this popular destination is known for its rich history and lively strip of fine art galleries and shopping boutiques, restaurants, and bars with sidewalk seating, theater shows, and yearly festivals.

Attend Evening on Fifth, a local event where you can enjoy free live music and entertainment on Thursdays from November through April. Walk around and explore the village shops before grabbing a romantic dinner at Osteria Tulia, an Italian restaurant famed for its fine dining and rustic Italian cuisine. Then, end the night off with drinks on one of the many sidewalk patios, taking in the infectious energy of night in the very heart of Naples. For the perfect date night you’ll never forget, 5th Avenue South is a must-see!

3. Stroll Through Naples Botanical Garden

Immerse yourself through 170 acres of beautifully designed, lush greenery at Naples Botanical Gardens. Romantics won’t get enough of the stunning scenery and delightful floral aromas inspired by some of the most incredible tropical areas around the world. We recommend stopping at the visitor’s center for a cup of coffee or tea while you walk to stimulate all the senses.

Throughout your tranquil stroll, take in stunning views of a traditional chattel house in the Caribbean Garden, dramatic water features in the Brazilian Garden, a re-created 15th-century Hindu temple, 250 varieties of plumerias, and pristinely preserved natural wetlands.

If you’re looking for some education about the area, the Florida Garden provides an enabling garden accessible to people of all abilities. There, you can take a romantic stroll along the boardwalk with views of the birding tower and picturesque lake before heading out on your next adventure.

Dinner with a view: You’ve got to check out The Bay House Restaurant! Take in gorgeous views of the river as you indulge in Florida’s finest seafood amidst an elegant dining room.

Whether you wake up early with a cup of coffee in hand to watch the sunrise or venture out at sunset to end the day in blissful romance, you’re guaranteed an unforgettable experience. Cuddle up close to your loved one as you cherish the red, orange, yellow, and blue hues and catch sights of birds like pelicans and (if you’re lucky) dolphins. After the sun goes down, take a short walk to explore Third Street South’s many shops, bars, and restaurants to keep the magical time going. It can’t get any better than this!

5. Relax at Barefoot Beach Preserve

Barefoot Beach Preserve is a great place for couples yearning to get away from the crowds and spend quality time in 342 acres of South Florida’s most pristine nature. As one of the last underdeveloped barrier islands, Barefoot Beach is home to several magnificent animal species. Take a walk along the beach, and you’ll likely come across the land-dwelling gopher tortoise and a variety of sea turtles that nest in the sands.

From hiking nature trails to kayaking along the shore to finding one-of-a-kind shells, there are plenty of romantic things to do on this long stretch of beachside paradise. There are even concessions where you can enjoy food fresh off the grill, ice cream, and other tasty treats. And if you and your honey are curious cats, you can even take a guided (or self-guided) tour!
